How not to rent a car

When you rent a car you must consider several things if you do not want to make the wrong decision. There are a lot of rental companies but, unfortunately, not all of them a fair. Thus you need to choose carefully. Not only the prices but the cars and the quality of service as well. Below you can find a short list of mistakes you should try and avoid when you want to rent a car for a longer period of time.

• Do not stop with the first low-price offer. If you are offered suspiciously low prices somewhere, listen to your suspicion. We do not want to say that each and every good offer is a hoax but always check the company and if possible rent at a company which was recommended to you.
• If you can, take the car for a test drive. Every fair rental company will let you do that before you make a decision. It is very important because this way you can get some experience of the conditions of the car and you can decide if it is really comfortable for you. Stick to this possibility!
• Never sign a contract without reading it first! It is an unfortunate habit of a many people although it is very dangerous. Read the rental contract always very carefully to see what responsibility you will have in case of a possible accident or crash.
• Do not let the brand overcome your needs. A lot of people prefer choosing the same made of car but do not forget that a rental car will have been driven by a lot of people before you which has a serious impact on the car itself. You should rather choose a new model in good conditions than a well-known model in uncertain conditions
