How to choose the car you rent?

If you have decided that renting a car is cheaper and more convenient a solution than taking a taxi or the bus every day, you have probably done well. The only thing you must consider is what sort of a car you choose. When you choose a car you should consider if it will be your own car or not when the rent terminates.

For your own – think ahead!

If you rent a car because you would like to have it in the end, you should plan ahead. Where will you be when the rent terminates? If you are planning to start a family, you should not choose a sports car, tempting as it may be it will only cause you a headache where to put the child seat.

Long term lease

If you are not planning to start a family at the moment or you do not know what the future might bring, it may be useful to decide on a long-term lease. Although at the termination of this contract the car will not be yours, but if you have a flexible contract you can modify the conditions any time – you may change the type of the car you rent or you can rent another one with discount.  Thus you can choose you favourite sports car and change it to a family-friendlier model when necessary. You must also decide about the size, the model, the type of fuel  and the colour but these details will depend on your taste and the fact how green you are when it is about your car.
